An anthracite recycled aluminium case with a blue dial and an anthracite hand, worn on a dark brown recycled canvas strap. The Solar is the departure in the range: a 40 mm case of recycled aluminium rather than steel, a quick-change recycled canvas strap, a sapphire crystal and a date, all driven by a Seiko VS42 solar quartz that charges an MT920 cell from light. Its table gives China as the country of origin and 5 ATM (50 m) of water resistance, and the whole watch weighs 34 g.

Collector photographs

Taken by people who own this reference: their light, their wear, their patina. Not the maker’s photography. Where the maker hasn’t given us a photograph, one of these is shown as the main image above, always credited. A few are the Atlas’s own, and say so.

No collector photographs yet

If this watch is in your collection, yours would be the first. A photograph on the wrist shows what a studio image cannot: scale, wear, and how the piece has actually aged.
