The reference

Horological Atlas is independent and editorial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any watchmaker, and no house pays for placement. Specifications are compiled from manufacturers’ published figures and other cited sources, and each page links to where its facts came from. We work to keep them right, but information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong: it is provided for study and reference, not as buying, investment or professional advice. Check anything that matters with the maker or a retailer before you rely on it.

Names, trademarks and images

Watch and brand names, logos and model names belong to their owners and are used here to identify the watches and houses we describe. Photographs are shown with credit on each image, used with the rights holder’s permission or under the licence stated beside them; they are not ours to relicense, so please do not copy them from this site. If you are a rights holder and something here should not be, write to info@ssgm-llc.com and we will act on it promptly.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

What you post

You keep ownership of the comments and photographs you post. By posting them you give SSGM LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display them on Horological Atlas, which ends when you delete them or your account. Only upload photographs you took or have the right to share. Do not post anything unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading or promotional. We may remove any content that breaks these rules, and close accounts that repeatedly do.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email info@ssgm-llc.com with the page address, the work you believe is infringed, and how to reach you. We will review it and remove material that infringes.

Links to other sites

Pages link to makers, retailers and sources outside Horological Atlas. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. We do not earn commission on any link.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not scrape it in a way that degrades the service for others.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, SSGM LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and we will tell account holders by email before a significant change takes effect. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
