The Autochron Blue Mecaquartz is an Autochron, a 38 mm chronograph in 316L stainless steel with a blue dial, water resistant to 200 m. It runs on a TMI VK67 meca-quartz chronograph with a date, 30-minute and 12-hour counters and small seconds. Meca-quartz keeps time by quartz but runs the chronograph through a mechanical module, so the stopwatch hand sweeps and snaps back to zero the way a mechanical one does.

Collector photographs

Taken by people who own this reference: their light, their wear, their patina. Not the maker’s photography. Where the maker hasn’t given us a photograph, one of these is shown as the main image above, always credited. A few are the Atlas’s own, and say so.

No collector photographs yet

If this watch is in your collection, yours would be the first. A photograph on the wrist shows what a studio image cannot: scale, wear, and how the piece has actually aged.
