Hydro-Sub Date Automatic Chronometer
The Hydro-Sub Date Automatic Chronometer, reference 80128-357JNM-BUDD, is a diver's watch from Edox's Hydro-Sub collection, 42 mm across and 12.5 mm thick in stainless steel with yellow PVD, water resistant to 300 metres. It has a blue dial and comes on a metal bracelet with a double folding clasp. Inside is an automatic movement Edox calls the Caliber 806, naming the Sellita SW 200 alongside it, certified as a chronometer by the COSC. It is a limited edition of 500 pieces. A COSC chronometer movement has been tested over fifteen days, in several positions and at three temperatures, before it is allowed the name. The rotating ceramic bezel times a dive: set its zero against the minute hand and the elapsed minutes read straight off the scale. Edox gives its weight as 153 g.

Collector photographs
Taken by people who own this reference: their light, their wear, their patina. Not the maker’s photography. Where the maker hasn’t given us a photograph, one of these is shown as the main image above, always credited. A few are the Atlas’s own, and say so.
If this watch is in your collection, yours would be the first. A photograph on the wrist shows what a studio image cannot: scale, wear, and how the piece has actually aged.
How to get one
The maker's page for this exact reference, the same page this catalogue's specifications are sourced from. It was a limited edition of 500, so the page may no longer offer it for sale.
Edox publishes its current collection and its retailer or service network on its own site. Start there for what is actually in production; this catalogue records references whether or not they are still sold.
Check the reference number against the maker's own page before buying anywhere else. It is the one detail that is hard to fake and easy to verify, and it is what the specifications on this page are keyed to.
