Edox· SportsRef. 94500-3CA-BUINGrand Ocean Power Reserve Automatic
The Grand Ocean Power Reserve Automatic, reference 94500-3CA-BUIN, is a watch with a power reserve indicator from Edox's Grand Ocean collection, 40 mm across and 13.4 mm thick in stainless steel, water resistant to 300 metres. It has a blue dial and comes on a rubber strap. Inside is an automatic movement Edox calls the Caliber 945, naming the Sellita SW 279-1 alongside it. The power reserve indicator shows how much energy is left in the mainspring, which tells you when the watch needs to go back on the wrist. The see-through case back shows the movement at work. Edox gives its weight as 140 g.

Collector photographs
Taken by people who own this reference: their light, their wear, their patina. Not the maker’s photography. Where the maker hasn’t given us a photograph, one of these is shown as the main image above, always credited. A few are the Atlas’s own, and say so.
If this watch is in your collection, yours would be the first. A photograph on the wrist shows what a studio image cannot: scale, wear, and how the piece has actually aged.
How to get one
The maker's page for this exact reference, the same page this catalogue's specifications are sourced from.
Edox publishes its current collection and its retailer or service network on its own site. Start there for what is actually in production; this catalogue records references whether or not they are still sold.
Check the reference number against the maker's own page before buying anywhere else. It is the one detail that is hard to fake and easy to verify, and it is what the specifications on this page are keyed to.
