The Engineer Master II Diver Chronometer (42mm), reference DM2280A-S1C-BER, is a 42 mm stainless steel diver from BALL's Engineer Master II line, water-resistant to 300 m. This reference pairs a blue dial with a stainless steel bracelet. It runs on the automatic BALL RR1101-C, certified as a chronometer by COSC. BALL lists it as a limited edition of 1,000. Magnetism is what most often throws a mechanical watch off time, and BALL rates this one to 80,000 A/m, far above the 4,800 A/m an ordinary anti-magnetic watch must meet.

Collector photographs

Taken by people who own this reference: their light, their wear, their patina. Not the maker’s photography. Where the maker hasn’t given us a photograph, one of these is shown as the main image above, always credited. A few are the Atlas’s own, and say so.

No collector photographs yet

If this watch is in your collection, yours would be the first. A photograph on the wrist shows what a studio image cannot: scale, wear, and how the piece has actually aged.
