The calibre of the UR-112 Aggregat, which tells the time in digits: a jumping hour and a running minute on triangular prisms carried by a double planetary system, digital seconds on a skeletonised silicon wheel, and a 48-hour power reserve display, the only analogue indication, under a cover that springs open at the press of two pushers. The base movement sits apart from the display and drives it through a cardan shaft and conical gears that turn the drive through 90 degrees twice.
