Caliber UR-11.01

The calibre of the UR-111C, which shows the time along the side of the case: jumping hours, linear minutes on a cylinder that turns 300 degrees and snaps back at the hour, digital minutes, and digital seconds on two openwork LIGA wheels carried into view by a cluster of optical fibres. Bevel gears turn the drive through 90 degrees to reach the vertical displays, and the watch is wound with a roller across the top of the case and set with a lever that swings out from its side. Self-winding with stop seconds, 4 Hz, 48 hours, 37 jewels. URWERK's page describes it only as a self-winding calibre with stop seconds; the house gives its designation as UR-11.01. URWERK has not published who makes its base.
