Caliber 505.24

A 10½-ligne Swiss quartz from Ronda's xtratech line with hours, minutes, seconds, a date and a 24-hour indication for a second time zone that sets quickly on its own. Ronda builds it as the 505.24H, with a 24-hour hand, and the 505.24D, with a 24-hour disc, and gives both the same figures: one jewel in the Swiss Made and the Swiss Parts versions alike, 3 mm tall, 23.3 mm at the case fitting, 45 months on a standard 371 cell or 60 on a 395, and a rate of minus 10 to plus 20 seconds a month. This row is the calibre as slow names it, without either suffix. slow fits it in its one-hand watches and leaves three of its hands off, keeping only the one that turns once in 24 hours. Pulling the crown cuts the current draw by about seventy per cent.
