Caliber FS01
The chiming module of the C1 Bel Canto, which Christopher Ward calls an in-house module created by its technical director Frank Stelzer. He adapted the house's JJ01 jumping-hour mechanism into a striking one, adding more than 60 components in a module that sits on a Sellita SW200-1. As the hands turn, a hammer is drawn slowly back through the hour and released on the hour to strike a steel gong running round the dial: a passing strike (sonnerie au passage), which sounds the hour as it goes by rather than on demand, as a repeater would. The page gives 29 jewels at 4 Hz. It states the reserve as 41 hours in its specifications and 38 in its account of the calibre, so none is given here.
